In the fiscal year of 2022, MBC's team effectively oversaw the Australian BU, leading to impressive results. A dedicated team of 30 achieved significant savings through operational improvements, while optimizing space utilization and implementing an efficient SnOP plan to enhance logistics efficiency. Direct negotiations with manufacturers and airlines, along with redesigned contract logistics arrangements, showcased their expertise. Additionally, the team successfully implemented a "Gold Standard" supply chain model, delivering over 200M RATs to the Australian government within a crisis period and establishing a reference model for global replication.
- Managed the Australian BU and successfully led a team of 30 to achieve remarkable results in the fiscal year of 2022.
- Developed a team of 20 based in the Philippines and implemented partnerships with key suppliers to ensure efficient use of resources and effective services, materials and components supply practices.
- Delivered $20M in savings annualized through a full reset of the existing operations.
- Optimized space utilization in aircraft and product palletization at the origin rather than for a destination to considerably reduce lead time, handling costs, and defects (down from 3% to 0.01%).
- Implemented an efficient SnOP plan to reduce reliance on airfreight to favor sea freight.
- Negotiated directly with manufacturers and Airlines.
- Re-designed the Contract Logistics arrangements and WMS optimization.
- Designed and implemented a “Gold Standard” end-to-end supply chain model between China and Australia to deliver over 200M RATs to the Australian government over 5 months (over 220 charters brought to Australia) in a crisis period, now used as the reference model and replicated in the US and Europe.
